The Met Ball 2014 took place in Manhattan yesterday with some gorgeous stylish looks! Here are our favourites from the fashionable celebrity's that attended.

For this year's Met Ball, Queen B rocked the red carpet in a sheer black Givenchy dress. With a plunging neckline and cheeky see-through underlining that showed off her famous curves. Teamed with burgundy lipstick and dark chandelier earrings giving the singer a vintage noir-inspired look. Mrs Carter never seems to do wrong!

Blake Lively is the glamorous Gucci girl at this years event. Blake is always great at old-school glamour and in this pink sequinned dress worn with a 40s wave ensured she didn't let us down. Simply stunning!

Rosie Huntington-Whitely didn’t follow the Met Gala tradition and wore short hemlines for the fashionable event. The supermodel’s bold dress featured leather, gold and leopard print making just as much of a statement as the big gowns. Rosie accessorised with Balmain gladiator heels and large gold hoops giving her a look of a golden goddess!

Walk On The Wild Side This Winter!

Animal print has long been regarded as a trashy and tacky print – Bet Lynch’s fashion faux pas are primarily to blame!  But this Autumn/Winter 2013 things are changing and leopard print is returning in a fabulous way!

Leopard Print was featured heavily in London Fashion Week 2013 with sexy and sophisticated designs! Ensuring animal motifs are now statement pieces in most people’s wardrobes, Fusion’s Wardrobe www.fusionswardrobe.co.uk being one of them!

There are prints to suit everyone! From classic tiger and leopard prints to the recent introduction of pop art leopard prints. This is an innovative twist on the iconic motif as colours are being introduced with enthusiasm.

It is a great way to update and create some interest in a simple look! For example adding a statement motif to a monochrome piece you are creating a simple, smart, stylish outfit that is cutting edge and most importantly getting away from that garish out dated view of the print.

Saint Tropez Leopard SweaterAccessories are the most simple way to add the print to your outfit! So, for example accessorise with some leopard print boots or bold scarf. But remember - Never over do it! Or keep it simple and keep warm with a single piece of bold leopard clothing, for example this stylish bold Saint Tropez leopard sweater available in Fusions wardrobe. http://www.fusionswardrobe.co.uk/shop/women/knitwear/STK2517_Saint-Tropez-Leopard-Sweater.aspx

How to wear it? What to wear with it? Is less more? How do I know? No need to worry all your questions can be answered here! For a little inspiration look below!

The Cold Snap Finally Arrives!!

Today was the first day that I had to wait for the car windscreen to defrost before going to work. It seems we have not experienced the cold yet this winter and this was highlighted by the fact that on arrival to work the first two internet orders were for men's wool winter coats - the Diesel Wanty jackets http://www.fusionswardrobe.co.uk/shop/men/jackets-and-coats/DIEWANTY_DIESEL-Wanty-Jacket.aspx reduced from £225 to a spectacular £157.50 and the Gstar Grand Fleet Peacoat (ring our store 01208 815232 for more details) reduced from £255 to a mind blowing £127.50. Two men in the UK will be looking great and feeling smug about their bargains. Lucky boys!!

Out With Old In With The New

New Year New You. I have already broken my New Year's Resolution (Why is it so hard to take off your make up when you have been on a good night out!!) However, now is the time to bag your bargain from Fusion's Wardrobe as we are selling the autumn/winter stock at up to half price on many items to make room for the new Spring collection which will be arriving daily. The most unavoidable trend to look forward to in the new collections is the continued rise of the chino in a variety of shades for men and women teamed with a denim or casual shirt and blazer. Other colours to look out for are cornflower blue and burgundy as well as the pastel shades of mint, peach and lemon. Men's shorts are getting shorter and come in a variety of shades too - look out for the new arrivals from Franklin and Marshall.

Classic Country Vs Quirky Quintessential

Think British Countryside and you will be on trend for this season.
Tartan, Dog Tooth and Check prints mixed classically with contrasting textures like Cord and Quilting for that Quintessential finish. Detailing is a key factor for this trend with tailoring taking full effect, toggles, patches and pockets add practical and interesting touches.
For a more quirky country style try adding a splash of colour to the look, layering a rainbow knit Cardigan with a quilted jacket is bang on trend, for combining the two looks try our 'Hodgy' Cardigan http://www.fusionswardrobe.co.uk/shop/men/knitwear/LUM140619_LUKE-Hodgy-Knitted-Cardigan.aspx by Luke Roper and Squeeler Jacket http://www.fusionswardrobe.co.uk/shop/men/jackets-and-coats/GGSQUEELER_Gio-Goi-SQUEELER-Jacket.aspx by Gio-Goi.

Update your wardrobe with this seasons striking florals. To achieve this look with catwalk style the floor length maxi dress has made its way into the winter collection. A deep colour palette of plum, aubergine, brown and black will complete the transition for the maxi that was once condsidered a summer look. Vero Moda have nailed this look with a tiered floor length, floral maxi at £45.00. http://www.fusionswardrobe.co.uk/shop/women/dresses/VM10062767_Vero-Moda-Bisla-Maxi-Dress.aspx
